Sports Talk pt.1

Evening peep(s) and Assalamualaikum.

Currently, I am restarting to blog again since I had leave it for a while. There is no particular interest to be blogged like I used to do it, it is only for my class project, Sports Psychology. I have to post own thought(s) on sports issues. I will try to do my best as I do not want to put any provocation in my entry. Somebody has been hurt for the previous entries which I posted two years back. Enough said.

Pursuing Sports Psychology in this semester has given me chances to better know and familiarize with sports, any kind of sports. I did involve in young ages during primary school as an athlete for acara trek, lontar peluru, tarik tali. Unfortunately, I had stopped all those when I was in secondary school and after officially diagnosed with skin disease. No more active life-style, hence the cholesterol weight-up.

When it comes to sports, mainly huge event like Olympic games, Sea games, Asean games, attention would goes to acara terjun and lari pecut. Easily to be distracted with those wonderful skills and techniques displayed by the athletes. However, I only knew few most prominent athlete who had contributed a lot to sports, mainly for Malaysia. For example; Wong Mei Choo, Pandaleela, Nicol Ann David, some veterans-or-seniors athlete like Watson Nyambek, Sapok Biki, and so forth.

Yes, I know I did not read them a lot these days. Only Lee Chong Wei is the most recognizable as the first rank badminton-player in the world, despite of his richness and currently using Ferrari. He earns every little seconds of his effort through victories for Malaysia and significantly takes a lot to sacrifice.

Still remember one of this badminton-player who used to win All England Championship once. Hafiz Hashim has made Malaysian very proud of him. But, it was not lasted until he shown severely marked-down on his achievement and performance. It was doomed! How could such a thing happen? Might be because of motivation lacking? Too much fame or incentives? Or because of the training?

By studying this course, I hope to be able to benefit the knowledge. Hence, I will never pointing out to the player as he or she has performed poorly. There are various reasons beneath those failures. But the most important is, how the athlete would re-uptake the failure as challenge for them and starts to hold the victory once again.

I think that's all for now. To be continued.

Thanks for reading!
